What is VideoGrinds.ie?

VideoGrinds.ie is an online grinds website. We offer step-by-step video tutorials on how to answer some of the trickiest Junior Cert questions across many subjects including Maths, Science, Business and more. You can find more information about us here.

What subjects do you cover?

At the moment, we offer videos in Maths, Science and Business and we will be expanding to other subjects such as Geography and French in the near future.

How much is it?

You can subscribe to VideoGrinds.ie for €25. This will give you access to all videos on the website.

Where can I sign up?

Alternatively, if you see us at an event we can sign you up there in person.

What makes these grinds credible?

We have achieved an A grade in the 2016 Junior Cert in all the subjects that we offer so you can be assured that the grinds are of the highest quality available.

Who makes the videos?

We make all the videos ourselves, using questions based on the actual Junior Cert exam papers to help explain the topics.

The question in the video is slightly different to the one in the actual exam paper?

Due to intellectual property considerations, we are unable to use the exact Junior Cert papers. However, all our questions replicate those used in the State Exam Papers.

There are topics that don’t have videos for them?

We are constantly producing more videos so that we can fully cover every topic in a subject. If you like to request a video be made for a certain topic, you can contact us here.

Unlike any of our competitors, VideoGrinds.ie is run completely by students, for students. We are tailored specifically for the Junior Cert syllabus and using a clear audio-visual presentation of the subject matter, it can be utilised by students of all academic ability.

Where do you get your questions from?

Our questions are all based on the actual questions that appeared in the official Junior Cert papers from previous years. The answers to these questions are the same as those that will appear in the official marking scheme provided by the State Examination Commission.
